The event will demonstrate how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), geospatial tools, and integrated data systems are transforming SDGs monitoring and implementation. The Side Event on Leveraging Data and Technology to Accelerate SDGs Implementation, Monitoring, and Follow-Up brings together governments, development partners, and experts to explore how data and technology can drive progress toward the SDGs. Co-hosted by Thailand and Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with Germany, South Africa, ESCAP, and the UN DESA Statistics Division, the event provides a platform for knowledge exchange and peer learning on addressing key data-related challenges in SDGs implementation.
