World Development Information Day

The event will demonstrate how technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), geospatial tools, and integrated data systems are transforming SDGs monitoring and implementation. The Side Event on Leveraging Data and Technology to Accelerate SDGs Implementation, Monitoring, and Follow-Up brings together governments, development partners, and experts to explore how data and technology can drive progress toward the SDGs. Held during HLPF 2025, this side event brings together national leadership, scientific expertise, and local practices to highlight how China is advancing the 2030 Agenda through its national strategy and integrated sustainable development efforts.
