(Day 2) Sevilla Platform for Action (SPA) Initiatives Announcement - 4th International Conference on Financing for Development FFD4.


In the Sevilla Platform for Action (SPA), coalitions of countries and stakeholders are announcing 130 high-impact initiatives to implement the Compromiso de Sevilla - the outcome document of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4).

A series of announcements will take place at the conference, showcasing a diverse set of voluntary initiatives - to raise resources, build developing country capacity, help address the sustainable development debt crisis, and take steps to improve the financing architecture - reflecting the ambition and global reach of the Sevilla Platform for Action.


8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.: (1) Global Coalition to Scale up Pre-Arranged Financing: reaching a Global Target by 2035; (2) FX EDGE: Foreign Private Capital Mobilization and Currency Hedging Initiative
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: (1) Global Financing Playbook - Fostering Collaboration across Finance and Development Institutions; (2) Country-driven approaches to financing sustainable development and climate action
12:20 p.m. - 12:50 p.m.: Enforcing effective Taxation of High Net Worth Individuals. Taxing the Super-rich
2:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Public Markets Mobilisation for Development
3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.: (1) Scaling finance from development finance institutions (DFI): Policy Action Plan for the Mobilisation of Private Finance; (2) Action plan to achieve private investment mobilization objectives and standards of the FfD4 Outcome Document
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Green Guarantee Group
6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: The Hand in Hand Initiative of FAO/UN.
