(Day 1) Sevilla Platform for Action (SPA) Initiatives Announcement - 4th International Conference on Financing for Development FFD4.


In the Sevilla Platform for Action (SPA), coalitions of countries and stakeholders are announcing 130 high-impact initiatives to implement the Compromiso de Sevilla - the outcome document of the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4).

A series of announcements will take place at the conference, showcasing a diverse set of voluntary initiatives - to raise resources, build developing country capacity, help address the sustainable development debt crisis, and take steps to improve the financing architecture - reflecting the ambition and global reach of the Sevilla Platform for Action.

3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Coalition for Tax Expenditure Reform.
4:45 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: (1) Technical Assistance Catalogue: a PDBs Hub for Technical Assistance. Program; (2) Pooled Technical Assistance Platform for Greater, Greener Impact; and (3) Integrated Approach to Capacity-Building for Financing Sustainable Development.
5:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m: Scaling up domestic resources for sustainable development: the Addis Tax Initiative's Seville Declaration on Domestic Revenue Mobilisation.
6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: (1) Financing social protection: From pledge to practice; (2) Unlocking Social Protection Financing: connecting global advocacy to national implementation
