In alignment with the "Golden Indonesia 2045" Vision, the Government of Indonesia has prioritised the development of human capital by nurturing a healthy, smart, and productive generation.
Co-hosted by Qatar, Finland, Bulgaria, Japan, Indonesia and UNICEF, this side event will highlight the importance of shared vision through the multi-sectoral approach for the effective implementation of the FNMP, where the eradication of malnutrition will not only help to achieve SDG 2, but also many other objectives related to SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5, and SDG 8. It will bring together representatives from government, development partners, the private sector, and civil society to share best practices and
experiences, particularly within the framework of the SDGs in their own policies, strategies, and action plans. The discussion will focus on the FNMP's contributions to sustaining productive human capital and enhancing women's participation in national development.
The event will catalyse greater movement on sustainable school meals as a cross-sector solution to build productive human capital and engage women participation that builds up momentum toward other global key events, among others the Second Global Summit of the School Meals Coalition (SMC) that will take place in Fortaleza, Brazil, in September 2025.
