Multi-stakeholder round table 6: "Reforming the international financial architecture and addressing systemic issues" - 4th International Conference on Financing for Development FFD4


This round table will examine how to reform global financial system to make it more inclusive, stable, and responsive to today's challenges.

The discussion will look at how global financial institutions can be made more representative and effective in supporting sustainable development. Discussions will focus on ensuring that governance arrangements in international financial institutions reflect the evolving global landscape and provide greater voice and representation for developing countries. Participants will examine gaps in the global financial safety net and explore solutions for enhancing access to financing, particularly for vulnerable countries. Additionally, the roundtable will consider how financial regulatory frameworks can better respond to emerging risks and innovations, and assess the role of private credit ratings in shaping financial markets.
