Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) face heightened vulnerability to climate change and disasters due to geographic constraints, economic strains, and transboundary hazards. Despite these challenges, youth in LLDCs are emerging as key agents of change, driving community-based climate solutions, disaster preparedness, and risk education.

This press briefing highlights their transformative role, the importance of youth-led organizations in raising awareness, and the need for governments and development partners to provide tools and resources to support resilience-building efforts. Journalists will hear from youth leaders and UN experts on scaling these initiatives for greater impact.
