2026 SDG Moment - Together, We Can Do It.



The annual SDG Moment – convened by Secretary-General as mandated under General Assembly Resolution 74/4 — highlights inspiring action on the Sustainable Development Goals. It showcases stories of transformation from communities, countries, and regions driving change across the various goals. The event will bring together a constellation of transformative global and national efforts and discuss how progress can be accelerated, even in the face of growing global challenges.

  • Dialogue Segment (Together, We Can Do It: Leading The Way to 2030): Messages from World Leaders, Leaders' Dialogue and Multi-stakeholder Dialogues

  • Closing Segment: Reflections by the President ECOSOC & Deputy Secretary General

The message of this year's SDG Moment is clear: no country, institution, business or community can achieve the Goals alone, especially in a world shaped by successive and complex crises. Progress depends on shared responsibility and collective action.

The theme reflects both the urgency and optimism of the moment: despite mounting challenges, the Goals remain within reach provided that the international community acts collectively, scales proven solutions and accelerates implementation.
